One of my first memories in life is my Mom having to park at the end of my grandparents street and carry me to their house bc trees were blocking the road, they had power and I think we spent a week there.

That’s such a cute story. I love that we, as kids, thought it was the greatest time ever while our parents were freaking out.

I remember playing outside with friends the night before in short sleeves, went to bed and the world was covered in ice and the house was cold. It was wild. I also remember the sound of trees crashing under the weight of the ice.

Me too! It was my sister’s birthday and we’re all running around outside in shorts!
