That’s me they’re talking about here. A native NYer, I had enough of the rat race and had been toying w the idea of moving to my wife’s hometown of Fairport for years. When I got a remote job (pre-covid) we moved to Fairport with our kids and haven’t looked back once.

While I think this is great, I think Rochester needs fewer new "young digital nomads" and more "taxable revenue coming in from companies that sell stuff." But I only live in the Rochester MSA and the fate of Rochester has little to do with my day-to-day life these days.
