I have never been more aligned with a single tweet. Paste special -> unformatted text is everything.
In the mid aughts, I learned how to “Paste Special” 
“Unformatted Unicode Text” in Word at an internship, and, truly, the dividends it’s paid in time-saving are unquantifiable. So much more value came of that experience; yet a tiny Microsoft shortcut is my daily reminder of it.
