I don’t think this speculation could be wholly realistic. The story leaked to local press in Rochester, NY on the 27th (where Kodak is headquartered). Interesting data point though. Penny for your thoughts, @gtconboy?

The chart, w/out reference to the press release, could be misconstrued. Had there been no press release, Monday’s training looks suspicious. Given the release went out shortly after 11 AM Monday, it’s entirely plausible that speculators might bid up the shares.
