After the incredible amount of taxes we pay in Brighton/monroe county, could Brighton businesses expect to see similar opportunities with similar eligibility requirements?

Monroe County deployed a $2M emergency loan fund to support impacted businesses with non-taxpayer dollars through MCIDC, supporting 200 businesses with $10k loans at 0% interest. I am happy to answer your question with greater clarity. Please DM me or call 753-2012. Thank you!

Not with the same eligibility guidelines as Irondequoit. MC followed SBA guidelines so couldn’t help newer biz. Just a suggestion to help new biz keep afloat during these times!

Thank you for your suggestion and input! We were limited because we administered the fund through a local development corporation, which follows SBA guidance. We are in dialogue with local employers everyday to solicit ideas as to how we can be of greater service. Stay in touch!
