I plan on starting a family someday and I HATE how much dread I feel in my soul over how that decision might impact my career.
I know that's wrong, but this country doesn't exactly inspire confidence that it'll be okay. Too many stories.

but perhaps that's just as pointless.
You should be able to get that role and also be a mom if you want to be a mom. This is our...cross to bear? Is that a problematic statement?
