This week marks 20 years in government/politics for me. Some days are tough, but it's given me the opportunity to see so much good in our community and to do some good things for others along the way. Sim City and Kennedy books started me on this path and I'm happy I followed.
Sim City was a catalyst for me, too! That precious little CD-ROM program taught me that sports arenas and coal plants aren’t wise uses of public money about 15 years before grad school required that I read the empirical evidence behind the same concept in a $200 text book.
