@evandawson @mmackmedia I’m a @Penn alum (something I sadly share with DJT). Years ago, neighborhood around the university was in decline and they considered building a wall to keep students safe. Instead they spent the $ in neighborhood and the wall is less necessary by the day.

I feel like college town missed the mark on revitalizing the neighborhood. It really just seemed to bring a bunch of high rent apartments and retail space. Tons of turnover, no real effect on the neighborhood. This is just my opinion, not based on data

It wasn’t the right model for that particular section of Rochester. Would have worked much more effectively in the City.
