My 2018 resolutions were to care less about others’ opinions and to read all the books I started but never finished - namely, the George Eastman biography and The Power Broker. I succeeded massively with the first, which threw some folks off a little
; not so much with the 2nd.

This year, I want to learn how to play chess, I’m going to at least finish the Eastman book, and I’m going to say “thank you” more and “I’m sorry” a lot less. Happy New Year, everyone.

I’d say abandon the Eastman book
And hell yes to apologizing less. (Hard though! I start too many sentences with “I feel bad…”)1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

(I feel sacrilegious saying this, but the Eastman book is *so* *exceptionally* *boring*)
