@googlephotos #gHelp #HC I backed up all photos from my devices (iPhone, iPad) to my Google Photos and this AM all my most recent pictures seem to be gone from Google Photos. Following prompts, I freed up space on my devices by deleting files as they were backed up. Help?

I did - all for naught. I created an album this morning and saved it, and when I checked back later on it was gone. Does Google Photos back up photos in the background even when they have been moved to the Deleted folder? I permanently deleted the photos after migrating them.

Yes, a notification said that the backup was completed and the app prompted me to clear up space on my devices by deleting files. Could it be that they are still in the cloud?
