I know men and women consciously choosing not to because of costs. I know men and women who finally reach a point where parenthood is affordable, and are unable to conceive. And I know men and women starting and building families and making it work, despite major challenges.

What scares me is that the risk of Alzheimer’s is higher for women who do not bear children - whether they can afford it, cannot afford it, or cannot conceive.
