I've noticed video games make kids more tolerant to making mistakes. "I've failed 50 times, but I'll get there" You don't see this in school.

There used to be more tolerance for failing in schools. Now there is none. There is also far less recess and exploration time as well. Now every minute seems consumed with activity.

Video games experience, imo, is life in simulation. It's an opportunity for kids to peek into the hardships that are waiting for them in the near future, and being prepared for them.

Gamifying learning is a great way to get comfortable with making mistakes. Games teach you the mindset. You have an objective and are willing to overcome obstacles. If you fail, no harm done. You just try again but now you're more informed than the last time you tried.

Gamifying also consolidates learning period via repetition. Well-made simulators are invaluable.

@anafabrega11 Games like Mario, or adventure strategy games like Uncharted are good. Anything that has different levels, and allows the character to develop or “level up” teaches you about acquiring skills, solving puzzles and getting through obstacles
