It would help if major national outlets would ignore him or at least do their homework. Or, I don’t know, just hire a Ca-based reporter? This profile somehow misses his first run at governor and (mostly) his whole career in climate/nuclear?

I’ve seriously considered “pulling a Nick Kristof” and running for governor of California just so I can have a bigger platform for a few months to refute Michael Shellenberger’s misinformation and misinterpreted data

Relieved to see someone did a deep dive on this guy’s shame-free charade as a climate activist. Credit to him tho for parlaying a career as a lobbyist for an authoritarian petro-state into being considered a sustainability expert

I have followed the BTI and N & S since the beginning. Thx for this excellent review. As an ecologist I have found the BTI to be so alarming that I include it’s fallacies in my teaching. S would indeed be an abomination as gov.
