Do you think that if @HillaryClinton , or @JoeBiden were president during the pandemic, that they would have lead the charge to DEcarcerate??? Can you say honestly, would they have handled that aspect any differently ???

They would have dealt with it differently, but hardly any governors or politicians have been in a rush to decarcerate. We have to convince people not just wait for them to change

Yes this is true. We needed a TOTALLY different response, from ALL Levels of government, top to bottom.

Yes, a core of us understand, but we are not convincing people that it is time to throw Willie Horton politics to the side and do what is right

Yes. We need to get rid of Willie Horton Politics once and for all. Can you point to anyone, at any government level, who you would say has done a good job?

I would have to think about that one, many localities have done great with jails but not many state prison systems and Governors have done much (KY, CO)

Yes. I think Kentucky stands out, as a state, And as far as prosecutors go, I would probably single out

Replying to @amyvaz3 @HillaryClinton and
Yes, most of the "progressive" prosecutors have done well. Like I said, a TON of great work has been done in cities and localities, it is state prisons where a lot more should have been done

Yes. Also, I think it needs to be reiterated that not all “progressive prosecutors” are created equally. There are some very questionable ones in Maryland, and elsewhere.
