Hmm I don’t think this is accurate? Schuchat’s report doesn’t mention MMWR at all, if I’m not mistaken. (Also, it seems pretty routine for CDC journals like MMWR and EID to publish articles by external scientists in addition to those authored by in house staff)
None of that matters, she's got a talking point to make and random tweets about school guidelines that are not based in science.
