I’m sorry but NO. The Secure Elections Act does not require Risk Limiting Audits, & would allow states to continue forcing voters to use touchscreen voting machines & touchscreen ballot markers like the ExpressVote. We need @RonWyden’s #PAVEAct instead! #handmarked #paperballots

Perhaps a more diplomatic approach would accomplish more than agressive tweets will. You could politely try to educate people instead of berating them. Just a thought.
-
@jennycohn1 deserves a break on this. She berated no one, and has been more or less turning herself inside out the last few months writing about election methodology and associated risks in an effort to educate whoever will pay attention. I wish people would listen to her. -
I've been listening to her, and I've been paying close attention to the various bills, and I fully support the
#PAVEAct. But tone goes a long way in getting people to listen. Aggressive tweets just shut down any conversation. Then nothing gets done. -
Early on, I encountered both arrogance & a refusal to listen on the part of those making decisions 4 the rest of us about election integrity. Sometimes the only way to make people hear u is to be blunt. If you can do it better, pls do. 1/

2/ I have tried it sugar coated too btw. No response.

You would think this was a no brainer. Everyone should want to honor the sanctity of the voting process and make sure every legal voter can cast a ballot and be counted. Hope this gets passed. I’d question the motive of anyone who votes against this.

I agree
Amy would be an AMAZING President

I would sleep soundly, be happy and feel proud of my country once again.

Restore the VRA End Citizens United Limit campaigns to 3 months End gerrymandering Non partisan commission should run elections Automatically register EVERY CITIZEN to vote on 18th birthday Election Week, not Election Day If ID is really needed, then the gov't must issue it
-
There must be severe penalties for attempts to steal an election, suppress the vote, to keep votes from being counted, to intimidate voters, to rig the election in any way The party caught doing the cheating must lose power for 5 years! along with prison sentences of 5+ years
-
If it's determined that cheating took place, the election must be annulled, anything done while inoffice must be reversed including any judges confirmed, laws passed, supreme court justices - EVERYTHING!
-
We don't have a democracy right now. You can thank Republicans for that. We need outside inspectors like UN inspectors. We certainly can't have Kemp & Kobach (long time voting cheaters) running the elections when they are also candidates! Wth?
-
While all systems are potentially fallible I really wish the US had an independent non-partisan body similar to that in Australia; The Australian Electoral Commission. I can’t believe the US hasn’t already engaged in a similar system.
-
Hey Rocky, sorry, but I don’t understand what you’re saying IRT independent electoral body and voter ID??
