What is wrong with these people?

I ask what's wrong with the networks lack of integrity. They should fact check all ads before airing them. Without doing so, they are complicit in spreading propaganda.
-
There is a problem with taking dirty money
-
Most of the really slimy ads aren't even made by the candidates on either side, they are made by 'the congressional leadership fund' and similar political PACs. That's why we need to remove corporations/dark money from the political system. It only hurts America.
-
Yes, significant reform must be made to correct our democratic process. It is not normal that we expect or are not surprised when we hear lies and misleading info from politicians. Citizens need to take the reins back.

Why not pass a federal law that all political ads must be truthful and can only address one's opponent?

Better yet, they may only talk about what they bring to the table. Can’t be negative for opposing candidate.

I wrote
@RepErikPaulsen and asked him to remove the attack ads. His staffers sent me a letter about supporting Liberians.pic.twitter.com/PNrJWEu4fO

The
@RepErikPaulsen office 'random response algorithm' to constituent concerns strikes again. I wrote to him about healthcare and tax 'reform' and got a response about trafficking.

His ads are so deceitful it’s comical.

It would be more comical if there weren't people who believed them.

He knows you're popular in our state, and is trying to attach himself to you.
