As home school mom, despite a sterling senior management record, I have obstacles being taken seriously in my new pursuit of academia. I was not unemployed, I chose my kids but seems like that makes me ‘unreliable’ & a leave ‘risk’ who won’t be committed or cannot fulfill duties.
