I still remember my real estate agent's (an older woman) reaction when I (at age 21) made a "low" offer on my first house (which had no offers after months on the market). My offer was only 13% less than listed price. The agent did a double-take and shamed me into raising it.
This is one of those "I had no idea, but I am not at all surprized" facts.

Maybe this way women sell double as many houses as males. Already fixing the analysis on the price may induce an interpretation bias. Fix the analysis on “sum of sales per year” and then let’s see again
I’m not sure. The argument seems to focus on an individual-level of analysis. It doesn’t matter if women sell more houses (which given the current market seems unlikely). What matters is that the individual woman receives less and pays more. She has no benefit from sum of sales.
I felt this.
