    This is good news for those who care about reducing the spread strategic disinformation. ZeroHedge repeatedly shows up in our research — spreading conspiracy theories during crisis events, that serve as part of disinformation campaigns (with strategic political intent).

    This is an issue which hides a huge danger—who is the final arbiter of what constitutes “false information”? “Group think” creates a dynamic which is misleading. “Consensus based” standards would have disqualified my stance re: Iraqi WMD as “false information.” Dissent is good.
