In linear algebra, there's a concept of vector space and basis vectors. Every vector in that (potentially infinite) space can be created as a linear combo of these basis vectors. Learning is similar, focus on the basis vectors, rest everything is just a linear combo of it. 1/3

We do that by going deeper, and breaking down the topic into its constituents (basis), e.g. blockchain = merkle trees + digital sigs + consensus. Not only is it much easier to learn (slow moving), but you can retain far more (potentially infinite) information in your head. 2/3
