Huh! Just noticed that @travisci doesn't use whitelist/blacklist terminology. Instead, they choose "safelist" and "blocklist" in their documentation 
There. Now you have alternatives too. Let's stop using problematic phrases, yeah? Language matters. And it's not that hard.

Back when Travis was independent, they greatly valued inclusiveness, so this would be par for course for the company culture. They’ve been acquired though, about a year ago, and many people left.

When I added spam control to
@GetTogetherComm earlier this year I initially used "blacklist", but then I remembered seeing conversations like this and I switched it to "blocklist".
