I'm not surprised that this almost hit 8 hours. People *crave* depth. For every five-hour plus episode of mine, the overwhelming feedback is that it was too short, another 5 hours would be nice. The mainstream goes a mile wide & an inch deep, as

Big fan of TSATU. A suggestion - maybe you can add an outline breaking down the sections of the episode in the Notes. Allows the listener the flexibility to jump directly to specific sections of the episode.

Read somewhere years ago that we belong to the pancake generation (spread wide but thin), supposedly the opposite of genius (who knows more and more about less and less).

More dosa than pancake (I remember struggling to clear a short stack in iHop), but yeah. Is the thing with both coverage and consumption -- too thinly spread over too vast an area for anything to properly stick.

Big fan of yours Amit, but I don't crave such depth in podcasts. IMO Anything longer than a movie (3 hrs) should be an audiobook, not a podcast. Otherwise I don't see the point of it + one hardly retains anything and that is counterproductive.
