As far language is concerned. The maithili spoken in brahmin's home is quite different from lower caste maithili.

Not all the way through the podcast but was reminded of JP Dutta’s superb 1985 film Ghulami when I heard the discussion of the groom on horseback — the murder of Kulbhushan’s son in that film for daring to ride thus at his wedding was seared into my 8 or 9 year old brain.
