Visited the 135 yr old public library at Company Bagh at Allahabad (my hometown). Must be ages since I was last inside one! Such a slow & calming feeling While the internet has functionally all but replaced what libraries stood for, you do miss the immersive focused experience☹️

Looks serene and beautiful. I wish I had access to such a place in NCR. I miss my college library so much. I used to love going to the British Library (bang in the middle of CP and totally unlike this) but of late it seems to be full of exam prep kids.. they've killed it for me🤮
