Als je een orgaan wil kweken in het lab, moet je verschillende technische hindernissen nemen. 4D-printing, waarbij je een platte laag cellen opvouwt in de goede 3D-vorm, kan wel eens de sleutel zijn. Foto © Shahram Janbaz/TU Delft

Short Thread: staying with some friends and last night after everyone went to bed I could not figure out how to turn off the large ceiling light in their living room. There is a wall controller that seemed fairly straightforward.

I don't really like it when people whine! This is brilliant. They see a problem and, instead of whining, they do something about it!

I love this paper! They literally put bird crap into graphene to show its properties are enhanced. It will probably kill many fancy pants studies that put 30,000 €/gram stuff into graphene. It is hard to beat bird crap in terms of price and availability

since “doping graphene with cheap bird droppings produces more electrocatalytic materials than many complex multielemental doping procedures, we do not see any justification for such efforts, and we believe that researchers should focus their energy on other research directions”
