    We had the honor of receiving Hon Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Crisis Management & Social Development in Bauchi.The Minister was in Bauchi to provide support for the IDPs displaced by BH insurgency. We don't have IDP camps in Bauchi. IDPs are integrated into communities.

    The FG under the leadership of President remains committed to addressing the plight of the displaced in Nigeria.

    HE has received the report of the committee of State Joint Public Service Council on the Implementation of the National Minimum Wage of N30,000. He has APPROVED the payment of N30,000 as minimum wage for Employees in Bauchi with effect from 1st January 2020.

    Today I had the honor of attending the inauguration of the Bauchi State Joint Public Service Negotiation Council for the implementation of minimum wage in the state. The Council is expected to submit its report by 27th of December, 2019, for immediate action by the government.

    Thank you! May God guide us and give us the ability to implement the policies, programs and plans. The budget is smaller than the previous budgets, but we try as much as possible to be realistic and prioritize issues. 43% recurrent and 57% capital.

    Listening to the live broadcast of Bauchi 2020 budget presentation by Kaura and wow, some great great plans in there. Kudos 👏
