    One of the most dangerous things we can do is live in echo chambers, reading and listening only to the people who reinforce our own way of thinking. Challenge yourself to understand other perspectives. You still might totally disagree, but you won’t be guilty of unbridled bias.

    A teacher can be the authority figure without having an authoritative classroom culture. A principal can be an authority figure without having an authoritative school culture. Respecting authority isn’t about compliance, its about contribution. Schools won’t thrive on compliance.
