    The bizarre incoherence we are witnessing is astonishing. This Government seems committed to self-contradiction, as the Prime Minister denies the reality of the deal outlined in civil service documents and denies his own words of just a few weeks ago.

    Just had Alistair Carmichael and Beatrice wishart here campaigning so i mentioned to them about reducing the numbers of baby deaths and making sure greiving parents get the right care all over the UK. And told them about the amazing work does.

    That a sick child should be forced to sleep on the floor because of a lack of hospital beds is shameful. That Boris Johnson's instinct was to block the image and ignore the question suggests that he has no shame. This is an act that defines this Prime Minister and his character.

    The SNP cannot even tell us what their proposals would cost. (Perhaps it is because the sums just don't add up. A little ironic given the drop in maths education under the SNP Government, seen yet again in the new Pisa figures...)

    Deeply concerning. Whether or not this threat is carried out, the intent is clearly to stifle press scrutiny and silence dissent. Leaders from all parties should stand together to reject such dangerous behaviour.
