If you are using gsync and have performance problems in Cargo Company: Disable gsync. It works nicely then. Also, apparently gsync somehow thinks the game is named "Russian Roulette 2" (- wtf). Not sure what NVidia's devs are doing there.

Not so sure if they actually took a look at the game.

The feedback from Cargo Company players is one of the most awesome that I've ever received (maybe similar to Business Magnate). I get savegames with multiple screenshots and detailed instructions what and how people thing there might be an issue. It's a developer's dream.

Phew, just uploaded hotfix 1.0.1 for Cargo Company, fixing a few issues (detailed changelog on Steam's community). If you like the game, post a review on Steam, which would help a lot!

This is what wishlists look like when your game starts popping up in the popular upcoming category.

Interesting to see (as someone who has no clue how the youtube business works) how some youtubers which played my games last year have developed since then. Some gave up but quite a few increased their viewership by a massive amount.

So my phone has a resolution of 2400x1080 now, bigger than some still used PCs today. Yet it only shows 3 tweets per screen (or worse: 1.5 Facebook posts). This is not progress.

Cargo Company will be released with support for English, German, Spanish, French and Russian. But in case you want help adding more languages, you can do this with the translation kit I just posted here:

Sammer created this interesting game named "You are a Square" using CopperCube: Still a demo, some things are going to change, but nice already.

The kind of work to do before releasing a game is always a bit stressful. Positive: In the process, I get to watch lots of trains and rockets delivering cargo, which is relaxing.

Slowly getting confused by the growing amount of official Microsoft (UI) frameworks. For my own reference, ordered by time: Win32 -> MFC -> WinForms -> WPF -> UWP -> WinUI -> MAUI

Localization rule number one proved to be right again today: If your UI looks fine with English, German and Russian, you don't have to worry much about other languages anymore.

Not 100% sure if that guy is still happy with the location where he built his mansion after I opened a space hub there...
