    Love it! I'm officially updating my diagram. This is absolutely reflective of what I've seen and done. Prod Mktg typically owns all the enablement content, including customer training and ongoing nurture content for CS to use. Beautiful colors there, too. Illustrator?

    Yes! I think Product Marketing is a widely misunderstood discipline. Best way I've seen it described (pictured), is what I jump to the whiteboard with. It's a hybrid role, with tight alignment to product and sales teams. One of MANY roles in marketing, and can be quite technical.

    Anyone who thinks tech sales and marketing don’t require exceptionally skilled (and rare!) talent, don’t understand the positions. And probably don’t understand how tech companies really work.

    Most people think the foundation of a great company is market timing, genius idea, luck etc. Its actually blood, sweat and tears of a core group of people who just refuse to lose. Makes you believe in the magic that people have within and their sheer force of will.
