They will say the same thing about Haley, you guys. Or any conservative woman. You’ll see. History repeats itself. And history has always hated women of all kinds. Always.

It would be nice if you acknowledged that what we oppose about these candidates are their policies and past performance, having nothing whatsoever to do with their sex. Unless you think women shouldn't be vetted the same way male candidates are. Are they off limits or something?
-
For instance, Elizabeth Warren.https://mobile.twitter.com/Alt_LeftAlabama/status/992590936562683904 …

Or how about Harris? Can we talk about her horrific record, or is that too sexist for you?https://mobile.twitter.com/RealTrevorReese/status/1007605773881528320 …

America doesn't call Warren problematic, Native folks do, and with good reason. Nice to see that's a joke to you.
-
Native folks have legit criticism of Warren. But the Bernie-or-bust left also calls her “problematic”, “unlikable”, “corporatist”, etc. This tweet is aimed at them, imho.
-
I'm reading the words that are actually there. Native people are Warren's loudest critics on the "problematic" front, so it's a pretty epic reach to say this doesn't include us without that being stated.
-
There is no shortage of progressive critics calling Warren "problematic" for other reasons. Obv Natives are among them, but Natives weren't saying "I want to vote for a woman, just not Hillary", which is the crowd this tweet was explicitly addressed to.
-
Oh please she didn’t use it to get into law school, or claim benefits. She claimed ancestry which she has. Anyone complaining about this is ridiculous- Native American or not! It’s a

Fact: We have all appropriated each other’s cultures & ALWAYS will. Artists & writers & cultures are ALWAYS influenced by others. There is nothing original. Fight stereotypes, charicatures, insults. Applaud respect & activism or end up orphaned as an issue.
-
This is a deeply white-centric misunderstanding of what cultural appropriation is.

Uhhhhh, you forgot to name progressives like Nina Turner and Tulsi Gabbard, women who’d have policies progressives actually want. Can you please stop making a joke out of feminism and calling things that aren’t sexist “sexist”?
-
Do not tease me with the possibility of President Nina Turner. Either give me that right now or make me forget it, because knowing that’s a possible future and we don’t get it would be horrible.
-
I do hope I see President Nina Turner in my lifetime.

This tweet is entirely underrated. Can we add the nastiness directed at
@ninaturner to that list? -
Definitely! The list could be substantially expanded had it not been for the character limit
