Spot on I am one who would log off, close my laptop, and walk away if forced to work in a tower. I'm lucky I can do that, but I feel for others who have no choice. Rationale to end their WFH not valid. Revitalizing a downtown core on the backs of my coworkers.

Also, let's be realistic - one of the best ways to revitalize downtown (as least in the case of TO) is to make it safer for walkers, bikers, and TTC takers

agree 100% on how it can be a solution to many things. one thing to be careful about is the work life balance, as I am seeing work from home stretching our "hours we are available" as it's easy for 9-5 to become 8am-10pm with lots of breaks, so it feels like balance, but is it?

It has a place. I think that, for many jobs, we underestimate the benefits of in-person engagement, even informal engagement. But i don’t think forced, permanent engagement is productive either. Flexibility is important - for employee and employers.
