"For example, before the Americans came we had good relations with Turkey."--This implies that Americans are the primary source of Kurdish woes. Really? IS targeted Americans. Without them, the dark flag of IS might have still flapped on Mistenur Hill--to the delight of Erdogan.
No. He is stating an objective fact. He said this in my first interview with him back in Sept 17. What he means is that the US has a responsibility to stick around until a just political settlement is achieved. 11,000 men & women died in this fight. That’s the main loss, not TR.

The West is in denial for now. Thank you for stating it: "there remains a secret, unwritten pact between Turkey and IS. Turkey used IS against the Kurds. It then used IS as a pretext to invade Syria." Kudos to Amber for covering it.
