The consulate tells them they need to go back to TR for questioning & that the consulate will provide travel dox for that purpose & that they'll get their passport back upon their return. What guarantee do they have that they will not be jailed, say over a tweet?
This just happened to somebody I know and it was over a tweet. He is stuck now in the UK unable to travel because he has no other nationality or passport.
Great that I have my German passport and live in Germany. My parents keeps receiving my court summons for questioning in connection to court case regarding my tweets. But I can spend my holidays in Rhodes(Greece) take a ferry from there to Turkish coastal cities. That’s what I do

If the Cemaat was responsible for all the misdeeds of 2002-12 era, it should also take the credit of all good deeds. When I turn back and glance that decade from my glass house, I become proud of my community because you cannot even compare those days with what's going on today.

Many, many Turkish passport holders are being stopped either coming in or out of Turkey & find themselves jailed & charged with serious ‘terrorism’ charges for simple innocuous things like Facebook post or ‘liking’ a post or tweet! Many friends jailed for many years!!! #Turkey
