Amazon applauds @KevinYoder on the passage of his amendment to the @DHSgov appropriations bill, H.R. 392, that would remove the per-country limit on green cards. This is an important step towards green card reform, and Amazonians thank you for your leadership on this issue.

Another bad amendment from @RepKevinYoder. This one wouldn't increase numbers but would mean Indians (working for Big Tech) would crowd out other nationalities in the legal immigration flow.

Why do you think Indians should be penalized on the basis of their nationality? I have lived, worked and paid taxes in the US for ~9 years. Is it fair that a child born today in Italy can move to the US at age 25, and still get a Green Card before me?

To All ill-informed critics on #HR392:Did you have the foresight to understand the problem of backlog when more & more GC applications for one country were piling up? Did you even say once in the past that backlog is bad & results in visa holders remaining on low wages for long?

I’m amazed to see overwhelming concern all of the sudden for backlog for other countries. The critics should thank us to bring awareness about backlog, else they never had foresight to even understand that there’s a backlog & that results in visa holders being “indentured labor”.

And because the ill-informed critics don’t have idea about backlog before we brought awareness, they bring aspect of “cheap” labor as reason to prevent #HR392 . US Congress can legislate to change minimum wages for H-1B visa holders & no visa holder can oppose better wages.

Urgent: Call your Congress member & urge them to vote NO on HR392 It will eliminate country caps for Green Cards, allowing over 300,000 from India alone & slow GC for other countries. Call (202) 224-312, give your zip code & they will ring your congress member. #NoHR392

Not just mentioning no to hr392. We also need to specifically mention to remove an EB-GC-country-cap-elimination amendment brought by Yoder into Fiscal Year 2019 Homeland Security Funding Bill. Btw, stop buying anything from amazon.
