As 5/20, DC has 129 contact tracers, City Administrator tells Council in today's exec call. DC is contact tracing priority populations & their close contacts. Unclear what % of total cases. DC Health tells me contact tracers have successfully investigated 66 percent of positive cases, among those with phone numbers and excluding cases in long-term care facilities.
This notion that cases in skilled nursing facilities don’t count somehow - as if staff isn’t in and out all day long - is an obvious goal post move in favor of DC business interests. Very dangerous for all of us
