At today's COVID presser, Mayor Bowser reiterates that DC needs to see 14 days of sustained declines in cases. “We are not there yet. We have not begun to see a period of decline," she says. That's why it's "critical that DC residents stay at home to practice social distancing."

DC reported one of its lowest one-day increase in April on Sunday, with 51 new COVID-19 cases. When asked about this, DC Health Director says she is "not prepared to make any inferences from a one-day change. I’m interested in observing trends overtime."
