I tried a therapist in 2020 for industry burnout. It didn’t work out for other reasons, but she was also like, “I don’t know what Carmen Sandiego is. I don’t know what My Little Pony is. Oh, I think I heard of Star Trek”, and I know this is petty but it drove me a little insane

My friend got COVID in March and ended up with permanently damaged lungs despite being young. She was sent back to the hospital last week for something serious. Even if herd immunity could be achieved, it won't work if a large percentage of the population end up chronically ill

I think that Troi being blunter and funnier in Picard rather than the serene, calm person that she was in TNG is probably due to Marina Sirtis influencing the character, but I choose to see it as Troi slowly turning into her mother as she gets older.

I don't have any strong feelings on the Ant-Man movies but I feel like they are wasting the premise of that particular superhero. I think people want to see more things like that toy train fight, rather than "quantum realm creatures" which are reskinned generic alien designs

It's hilarious that Marvel comics went to the trouble of /having the devil literally undo Peter's marriage/ because the idea of divorce would age the character too much for fans to relate & then sad, middle-aged divorced Peter was everyone's favourite character in the first movie
