Do campaigns ever decide to advertise on social media platforms first versus email fundraisers? Curious as to if that’s ever a decision that’s made, or does everyone just default to email first?

Yes. In fact this is how many campaigns build their lists.

we need spending caps though, the amount of money being raised is ridiculous and unnecessary

Hi Amanda -- I disagree with the idea that repetitive and generic fundraising emails are what small donors want to receive. There is a huge opportunity to innovate in this area and have people be excited to be part of a campaign in a way that isn't about being spammed daily.

I appreciate all the emails and texts I get. I get a lot. I support numerous initiatives and people. Being informed is the best chance we have to end this insanity.

is it just me or does it seem like it was extra with the donation asks today? I'm donating what I can!
