I don’t mind the award badges too much. But all the other junk, I don’t care if it’s being make into a movie or it’s 20% off

As a bookseller, I cannot choose what can or cannot be put on a book. I have to follow regulations because it’s part of my job. If it were up to me, I wouldn’t use them, but I kinda have to unfortunately

I totally understand, it’s not like you’re the boss. This was meant more @ the big bosses, not that they’ll hear or listen

I get what you’re saying, and I don’t disagree, but it’s worse when they stamp it on the cover. That can’t even be removed. They have stickers that don’t leave residue, they should all use that *if they must*.pic.twitter.com/U4y6pXCneH

Oh god yes this is the worst. When I worked in a bookshop, people used to make me peel off the stickers before they’d pay for the books, so I’d have to give a discount if it left a sticky mark. Both really irritating but also... fair enough.
-
That’s an interesting way to beat the system. But a shitty thing to do to you as the employee.

Apart from book fairy stickers of course, as they encourage the sharing of reading

Eeeeeh, looking at your pictures I definitely think it can be done without stickers! But the book fairy concept is super awesome.
