Most sandwich fillings are eaten as sandwiches - so not really stand alone. But a hot dog, or in this case, sausage and eggs could be consumed as a meal sans carb

But think about ham. You could eat it on a plate for Christmas and have a dinner bun on the side. Is that then an open face sandwich just waiting to get put together?!pic.twitter.com/mGJQXHONzM

HI I HAVE SANDWICH THOUGHTS. TH waffle is
necessary and
a sandwich. I cast a wide net: vessel (be it waffle or bread...) + filling (stand alone or otherwise) + vessel = sandwich. Re: chart confuses me. Anything with sealed, e.g. pop tarts, calzones, aren't sandwiches!3 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

Yah I'm confused too. Because a s'more in structure and contents is basically a desert sandwich

It’s like a sealed hot sandwich? So if sealed edges make it not a sandwich does this toe the line?pic.twitter.com/V1j4MGYf9p

I’d call this a campfire calzone, and I’m into it.
