Luckily, I have avoided this myself, but I have had SO many clients who've gone through this. This is a real thing that women in particular experience. Signal boosting so more eyes can fall on it.https://twitter.com/CynicalTherapi1/status/1288132688147181572 …

I’ve been telling my dr for over a year now that Lexapro doesn’t seem to be helping anymore. I want to try a different antidepressant but she won’t prescribe one

Can you go to a new doctor? Yours obviously doesn't care and it's not okay. I know that's not an option for everyone but still... My doctor put me on wellbutrin on top of Lexapro, but Lexapro was still helping me a lot on its own

I’m also on Wellbutrin along with my Lexapro but I still have very bad thoughts. I always feel like teetering on the edge of sui*ide but more like I just don’t want to exist. I just want to feel better and Lexapro isn’t helping :(

If it is an option for you, I definitely suggest trying to find a new doctor. A doctor who doesn't listen to you just isn't okay. You know how you feel, and if they don't believe you they can fuck off.

When I first started taking it I felt good. I’m not sure if it’s this virus but since last December I’ve been feeling really down and unable to dig myself out. I’ll try to find a new dr. I have medi-cal so it think they just need to be in my network

Yeah, that's how I felt to a point. I knew I wasn't as bad as I used to be, but I was definitely running into a wall and.. Not feeling great. Not to the level of sui*ide, which is what I was at before starting anything.. But just no motivation or anything..

Does the Wellbutrin make you sweat like crazy? That’s my worst side effect from that one

MAYBE THATS WHY I'M SO HOT ALL THE TIME OMG I was just complaining to my roommate earlier that I knew the apartment was 70° but that I was SO WARM I actually set up a fan in the living room today

So I’m already sensitive to heat and I got the sweating side effect from Lexapro and from Wellbutrin
