Honestly my modern gaming experience in WoW is similar to my overwatch experience. You’ll find that most people don’t want to communicate and want to blame others for failing. And absolutely hate, under any circumstances, to be told what to do or try.

It’s a big reason I don’t wow raid anymore. When I raided hardcore, it was for some hardcore raiding. Each person put in effort to achieve the goal. They gave it their all. Now? Screw you’ll I’ll just go get carried by another guild! Basically.

Same in Overwatch, really. You’ll get that 200HP hero go run and try to 1v6, die, and put the team at a disadvantage.

Completely unable to realize you should be playing to each other’s strengths. You know, like the solo Zarya ult when nobody else is around to do anything with it type person.

People put in basically 0 self effort. Playing on a potato internet? Don’t bother asking for help. Make the raid suffer from your 500ms latency.

Trying to do mythic raiding at 20FPS? Clearly it’s everyone else’s a fault when you die and cause a wipe or can’t output what you need to.
