i have exactly *one* hard rule in electronics and it is "i never, ever, cheap out on tools in general and test equipment in particular"https://twitter.com/mcclure111/status/1058827204853985282 …

i use a rigol but im not a scope expret
I also have a rigol, a ds1054z, which was inexpensive but has been good enough for my purposes. I also have a Saleae logic analyzer, which I quite love (for digital signals); it supports some analog signal stuff, but I've never depended on it for that.
Thirded, these two tools have served me really well. There is also a 2ch siglent that I have heard good things about
I use/recommend a Rigol 1054z; as far as I can tell it's one of the best "entry" level scopes (although entry for a tool like an oscope is still a bit pricey)
yeah same
Rigol and Siglent are good entry level options, I also have a (hacked) rigol ds1054z
I'll chime in with the analog Tek recommendation because someone has to. My 465s are intuitive and fast, and I just got a 485.
I probly have a 22?? you can have, only 1 ch works, dunno which model it is :)
seconding that with the addition of it probably being mostly used for radio stuff
