But if you look at my entire thread (maybe Twitter didn't show it?) you'll see that Chesa made a campaign promise to go after the crime rings that do mass shoplifting. My point: before Chesa invests his limited time to do two seasons of a campaign promise, he should first execute on his campaign promises. He didn't promise podcasts (check the Internet Archive link above). He did promise to go after mass shoplifting rings.

But the DA doesn’t investigate crime or make arrests, they only prosecute crimes. They can partner with LE all they want but if LE doesn’t do their job than the DA can’t do his. Are you expecting the DA to put on a cape and mask and make arrests himself?
