Don't do this. Ever. This is insulting and disrespectful to your users. Nobody is entitled to support from volunteer FOSS projects, but they absolutely *do* deserve not to have the issues they took time to file actively thrown away. If you haven't fixed the bug, it stays open.

Still applies. If the enhancement won't be done (for reasonable reasons), have a human drop it and say so, not just an impersonal bot with no useful criteria. But these bots tend to be deployed indiscriminately and used for bugs, and that is just not acceptable.
