I remember when I became a partner in 2014 that we were then able to upload videos longer than 15 minutes and custom thumbnails, is that no longer a thing if I get my partnernshkp revoked if I don’t meet your “standards”, @TeamYouTube @YTCreators? Or do I still keep it. CLARIFY!

Its only for monetization of videos, you'd still be able to upload longer videos and custom thumbnails. I don't think that would be affected, they just don't wanna pay up new youtubers.

Yeah I just thought to check now, I made a separate new account and it says that’s still an option. I guess somewhere down the line they started letting non partners make thumbnails, which is good.

The funny thing tho is these are the consequences of the mistake YT made and not the creators. Its like YT decided let's mess with all the new creators just cause logan paul and YT fucked up.
