Yeah that's the most disappointing thing about Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Right? I really like the show otherwise, but it’s almost like the writers had a meeting a couple episodes in that went “okay so the public reaction to the Flag Smashers’ ideology has been overwhelmingly positive? Should we, I dunno, have them randomly blow up a building?”

I get that this is a criticism of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which I have not seen yet, but I’m struggling to find even 1 other example. Most MCU villains are like fascist conquerors who love genocide.

...what? At what point was Stane reasonable? Vulture was never outright evil, loki wanted complete domination over the world, Thanos was omnicidal with a thin veneer of FER DER GRETER GUD, hydra wanted global thought crime assassinations FER DER GRETER GUD... what?
-
Vulture wanted money for his family, Killmonger wanted liberation for oppressed people, The Flag Smashers wanted to help displaced refugees, Thanosvwanted to solve overpopulation, and Ghost wanted to save her own life. ‘Every’ is an obvious exaggeration for comedic effect
