I heard Trump voters saying "as long as everyone else loses their cover too." Which is fine until they get cancer.

I have a family member who is one of those. She voted Trump. She's otherwise very caring. Just couldn't bring herself to break party line.

Sadly, I just wait for her to get sick. It seems it'll be the only way for her to get past the 'red haze'. No experience with outside world.

Even that might not do it. A story quoted a Trump voter saying that his policies may kill her, but if she lives, she'd vote for him again.
